Educational Purpose
The Geppert School of International Studies nurtures and cultivates future global leaders specializing in an integrated, multidisciplinary study of international affairs. By bringing together students from multiethnic and multicultural backgrounds and offering an all-English curriculum taught by renown faculty, the Geppert School of International Studies provides a unique and enriching environment in which students can deepen their innovative and critical knowledge. The Geppert School of International Studies consists of three tracks – including International Relations, International Commerce, and Asian Studies – and students in the program will choose one of these tracks as their major focus.
Upon graduating from the Geppert School of International Studies, students can develop their careers in international organizations, public institutions, and research institutions. They can also join multinational companies and nongovernmental organizations.

Specialization of Education
International Relations Track
The International Relations Track cultivates young experts specialized in international politics. By offering a distinctive world-class education, this track equips students with practical capabilities and theoretical knowledge about international affairs, thereby nurturing them to become international experts who play a leading role in academia, public institutions, international organizations, and multinational corporations.
International Commerce Track
The International Commerce Track provides rigorous training in international economics, business, finance, and economic law. This track focuses on ensuring that outstanding students build the academic foundation and practical experience to become ambitious and capable leaders who play a critical role in improving the global economy.
Asian Studies Track
The Asian Studies Track approaches Asia with an emphasis on gaining a broader understanding of the region by utilizing knowledge and perspectives across a wide range of disciplines. This track aims to provide a comprehensive learning experience that enables students to fully appreciate the interconnectedness within/of the region and exposes students to diverse disciplinary approaches, including culture, geography, history, international development/cooperation, international relations, and politics.
